Organic Sun Dried Cherry Fairtrade (150g). Product of Pakistan
When the cherries are fully ripe, they are harvested and dried by women who are all members of the Fairtrade Certified Northern Area Farmers Association in Pakistan. The cherries are inspected and packed at (TW's partner organization) Mountain Fruits' purpose built factory. Dried cherries are a low risk high value product compared to fresh cherries which can easily be damaged when transported for many miles on difficult roads.
They are 100% pure cherry, free from all any additives and preservatives, are packed full of flavour and are a source of vitamin A. These cherries are dried at temperatures lower than 42C, so are suitable for a raw food diet.
